Annmarie Garden is a thirty-acre outdoor sculpture park with an Arts Building. A paved path meanders through the woods past permanent and loaned works of outdoor art, some on loan from the Smithsonian Institution. Daily activities, including a walking guide and artsy scavenger hunts, make this an unforgettable place to visit. The Arts Building is dedicated to bringing innovative and engaging exhibits to Southern Maryland. Featuring nationally developed and advertised shows, every exhibit includes carefully crafted programs and events to compliment the show and provide opportunities for visitors to interact with art. The Arts Building also boasts a cafe and a gift shop. The Studio School offers art classes, workshops and art camps for all ages and abilities.
Directions:
Route 4 south. Turn left onto Dowell Road at Solomons Firehouse. Proceed .25 mile. Turn left at entrance.
Admission:
Free, except during some special events.
