Maryland Technology Development Corporation to Present
Business Funding Briefing
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- December 03, 2004 -- The Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) will conduct a briefing to provide details on its capital funding programs in Southern Maryland on Friday, December 10, 2004, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center in California, Md.
The briefing will teach companies how to use TEDCO’s capital programs to develop and transfer technology from Maryland universities and Federal laboratories to the marketplace. The Access to Capital brief is particularly designed for early-stage companies seeking growth opportunities through innovation and seed funding may be available for those who qualify.
Companies will learn program details, eligibility requirements, and guidelines for effective proposals, proposal submission and the review process. An overview of the NAVAIR Technology Commercialization Initiative (NTCI) will also be provided. This initiative facilitates the transfer of technology being developed by the Navy into the commercial sector by providing seed funding to initiate development of NAVAIR-related technologies.
