Tricks and Treats at the Calvert Country Market
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- October 21, 2004 -- The Calvert County, Maryland Department of Economic Development and the Calvert Country Market (CCM) vendors invite youngsters and the young-at-heart to have a safe and festive Halloween at CCM in the Prince Frederick Shopping Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30.
See the vendors in Halloween costumes and stop by each booth for a special Halloween goodie. For $2.00, have your picture taken at CCM – either wearing your own Halloween costume or standing behind our decorative picture board. The very young will enjoy story time at 2:00 p.m. and G-rated Halloween movies running all day. Parents can shop for harvest treats like pumpkins, gourds, candies, decorations, fresh-baked bread and yarns and knitting supplies.
CCM, located in the Prince Frederick Shopping Center, at the corner of Routes 231 and 4, offers locally grown fresh produce, flowers, herbs, baked goods, certified organic products, and local crafts. Additionally, CCM features a bakery, seafood, butcher, green grocer, delicatessen, antiques shop, fine jewelry, candies, essential oils and aromatherapy items and a gourd shop.
