Calvert County Department of Economic Development Hosts Free "Sunrise Seminar" on Retail Management

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- September 11, 2004 -- The Calvert County Department of Economic Development announced today that it will host a Sunrise Seminar on retail management on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. The seminar, sponsored by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, is titled “Driving Sales from the Floor” and will cover a wide range of issues that can help retail business owners to better manage and grow their companies such as cash management, expense tracking, general management, inventory control, marketing and customer relationship management.

The seminar will be held at the Calvert Country Market in the Prince Frederick Shopping Center. While there is no fee to attend, registration is required by Friday, September 24, and is limited to 40 people.
