End-of-Summer Specials at Chesapeake Hills
Special Rates on Green Fees and Food at Highly-Rated Area Golf Course

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- September 02, 2004 -- The Calvert County, Maryland Department of Economic Development announced today that Billy Casper Golf (“BCG”), management firm for Chesapeake Hills Golf Club is offering a variety of exciting new specials on green fees, food and beverages.

The newest summer special at Chesapeake Hills allows anyone with a military base ID, police badge or fire department badge to play for $25 on Fridays through the end of September. Friday also marks the “Friday Blitz” special which begins at 5:30 p.m. and is a 9-hole blind draw scramble for $26, including green and cart fees and prizes. In addition to the Friday specials, there is the Monday $22 “Play All Day” rate that includes green and cart fees, and welcomes visitors to play as many holes as they can for just $22 (mention this special when booking a tee time). There are also various leagues available including junior, women, and senior leagues which play once or twice a week and include special deals and clinics.

In addition to the fun and challenging golf course, Chesapeake Hills offers food and beverages in the recently renovated Beacon Grille and features a fully stocked golf shop with brand-name equipment, apparel and accessories. The Beacon Grille offers a steak special every Friday night which includes a Del Monico Steak, salad and baked potato for only $12.95.

The Maryland Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO) owns Chesapeake Hills, one of three MEDCO-owned golf properties BCG manages. The others are Eisenhower Golf Club in Crownsville, an 18-hole championship course near Annapolis, and the high-end 36-hole Compass Pointe Golf Courses in Pasadena.
