Decker Line-X Opens New Facility in Calvert County

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- April 30 , 2004 -- The Calvert County Department of Economic Development is pleased to announce that Decker Line-X, a company specializing in the application of spray-on truck bed liners, has expanded services to include a facility in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Decker Line-X, Maryland’s first fully authorized Line-X application dealer, has been serving the Southern Maryland region since 1997. During the winter of 2002/2003, Decker Line-X proudly headed a Blast Mitigation project at the Pentagon. This project was part of ongoing renovations at the Pentagon and a direct result of the September 11th terrorism attacks. While still maintaining their business in Lexington Park, their new 2,000 sq.ft. Prince Frederick facility, located at 3695 Hallowing Point Road, has been in operation since February. “We are open and ready to serve the fine folks of Calvert County,” stated Steve Decker, owner. “Everyone has been so warm and kind to us. We look forward to many years here in our new home.”

Line-X is a thick polyurethane elastomer that has a higher abrasion resistance and a higher strength than any other spray-on or drop-in liner. Bonding permanently to your truck bed, Line-X molds around every contour, providing a weather and watertight seal with no lost cargo space. Used primarily for truck bed liners, the material can also be used on decks, foundations, retaining walls, vehicles, silos, feed containers, trailers, jeep and truck floorboards, RV roofs, and much more!
