I-Tech: New Business Incubator Tenant To Host Open House &
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- February 17, 2004 -- The Department of Economic Development (DED) announced today that I-Tech, a new computer service company and the newest tenant of the Calvert County Business Incubator, located in the Kaine Building, 65 Duke Street, Suite 211, in Prince Frederick, would hold an open house/ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 from 3:00–5:00 p.m.
I-Tech offers a variety of computer services including on-site repair, optimization and upgrades, consultations, diagnostic reviews, virus removal and network and firewall installation. They install and support Windows NT/2000/XP servers and clients, and are eager to work with you to identify your computer equipment needs. “We’ll help you find the perfect product – and at a great price too!” says Barbara Puckett, President. “I-Tech can provide you and your business the foundation for a comprehensive, scalable IT solution.”
“We’re extremely happy to be located in the Calvert County Business Incubator,” said Puckett. “The services offered through this program will allow us to concentrate on growing our business and providing the best service possible to our customers.” The Calvert County Business Incubator program is offered by the College of Southern Maryland (CSM), on behalf of the Calvert County Board of County Commissioners and the Calvert County Department of Economic Development. The Incubator recruits, develops and graduates economically viable companies into the community. Day-to-day management is provided by CSM. A technology and business start-up counselor provides mentoring services, business plan development and review services, investor/financial advice, marketing advice, management team development, and new product assessments as needed. These services, along with furniture and computer equipment, are provided for $500.00 per month to eligible companies.
