Free Business Marketing Seminar Offered to Calvert Businesses

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- April 03 , 2003 -- The Department of Economic Development (DED) will present a Business Marketing Seminar on May 22, 2003 in response to our Annual Business Development Survey. Topics of discussion will include web-marketing tools, public sector marketing assistance, and the power of publicity and public relations. The Seminar is free and open to all Calvert businesses. Space is limited, pre-registration is required.

Knowledgeable experts will discuss how to market a business using a variety of tools, including a web site and public relations. In addition you will learn how local businesses use these tools to increase their client base. The DED and the College of Southern Maryland will also discuss the various programs available to businesses in the county.

The Seminar will be held at the Holiday Inn Express, 335 Merrimac Court, Prince Frederick, Maryland on Thursday, May 22, 2003 from 9:00a.m.to Noon. Registration begins at 8:30a.m. Space is limited so register early for this free seminar.
