Calvert County DED Conducts Annual Commuter Survey

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- March 10, 2003 -- The Department of Economic Development is conducting the annual commuter survey to obtain information regarding out-of-county commuting patterns of Calvert County residents.

Approximately 60 percent of Calvert’s workforce commutes to jobs out of the County daily. By conducting this survey annually, the Department of Economic Development gains information that assists in understanding where our labor force is employed outside of the County.

The deadline for completing the survey is April 14, 2003. Results of the survey will be made available to the public online and in the Department’s newsletter in early summer. For more information, call 410.535.4583 or 301.855.1880.
