Calvert Department of Economic Development Launches Improved Commercial Property Listing Service

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- October 03, 2002 -- The Calvert County Department of Economic Development (DED) announced today that they have enhanced their web site by revising the Available Commercial Property listing service. This service is offered free of charge to realtors and property owners who have commercial property for sale or lease in Calvert County.

This section of the DED web site assists staff in recruiting businesses interested in relocating to, or expanding in, Calvert County by allowing them to search for commercial properties that meet their needs. Visitors can limit their search to zoning type, improved/unimproved properties, and location or they can view all listings in the database. Each listing provides the visitor with property name, location, size of either the property (if unimproved) or the building (if improved), zoning, acceptable usage and contact information for the listing agent.

This service is available for commercial properties only and the property must be located in Calvert County. Anyone wishing to use this free service to advertise their available commercial property, can click here to register. Users will be required to fill out short forms to register the company and to register as a user. Users will then be able to submit commercial listings to us for approval. Once approved, properties will be available on our web site for others to view.

In addition to the commercial property listings, Calvert businesses are also able to advertise their business and employment opportunities on the DED web site free of charge.
