Calvert County DED Conducts Commuter Survey

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- April 22, 2002 -- The Department of Economic Development is conducting a commuter survey to obtain information regarding out-of-county commuting patterns of Calvert County residents.

Approximately 60 percent of Calvert’s workforce commutes to jobs out of the County daily. By conducting this survey, the Department of Economic Development hopes to gain information that will assist in understanding where our labor force is employed outside of the County.

The deadline for submission is May 17, 2002. Results of the survey will be made available to the public online and in the Department’s newsletter in late summer.
