Missing: A Piece of Calvert County History

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- March 11, 2002 -- Calvert County’s 350th Anniversary Celebration Committee is in search of the script of the historical pageant that was written for Calvert County’s Tercentenary in 1954. The title of the pageant was "On This We Build" and it was written by the following: Ms. Virginia Dare Sollers, Mrs. Helen Jarvis, Mrs. Harry Harkness and Mrs. Annie Bond Wagner. The pageant consisted of ten scenes that re-enacted the history of Calvert County.

In celebration of Calvert County’s 350th Anniversary in 2004, the committee is planning to have the pageant or a facsimile performed.
