Patuxent Partnership Sponsoring 5th Annual Business Development Symposium

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- February 12, 2002 -- The Patuxent Partnership and the Naval Air Systems Command are jointly sponsoring the 5th Annual Business Development Symposium, "Technologies for the Warfighter and Industry". The symposium will be held the afternoon of March 18 and all day on March 19 at the Holiday Inn Select in Solomons, Maryland. The focus of the symposium is technology transition and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Knowledgeable speakers have been invited to share their expertise on relevant topics, and a variety of workshops will be held to address subjects of interest. The Naval Air Systems Command will display technologies from their various facilities available for commercialization.

Meet, network, and share your ideas with other attendees at the reception scheduled on the evening of March 18, 2002 and the luncheon scheduled on March 19, 2002. This symposium will offer businesses and entrepreneurs an opportunity to meet and foster a synergistic environment necessary to develop, share, and apply innovative technologies effectively, while creating new opportunities for business development.
