Calvert County Farmers Market Association Seeking Growers for 2000 Season

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- June 8, 2000 -- The Calvert County Farmers Market Association announced today that it is currently seeking growers for the 2000 season. The Association invites growers to join with them in selling farm produce and farming handiworks at the Calvert County Farmers Market.

The Farmers Market offers locally grown fresh produce, berries, flowers, herbs, baked goods, honey, pies, aquatic bedding and vegetable plants, and certified organic products. Typically operated from June - October, increased participation could expand operating hours through the holiday season, providing enhanced seasonal opportunities for sellers.
