Turn Key Enterprises, Inc. Expands D.C. Operations at the Calvert County Industrial Park

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- April 4, 2000 -- The Calvert County Economic Development Authority (EDA) announced today that Turn Key Enterprises, Inc., and Interface Electrical Corporation will expand their Maryland operations to the Calvert County Industrial Park, Prince Frederick, Md. Turn Key will locate on Lots 33 and 34 at the Park.

Turn Key Enterprises is a General Contractor specializing in commercial development; Interface Electrical Corporation is a commercial electrical contractor.

The companies will expand their current services and construct a 20,000 square foot self-storage facility. The company is expected to make a minimum $800,000 capital investment in the County and bring 15+ jobs. The facility will be managed by a women-owned business, Ladies Enterprises, Inc. In addition to the self-storage project, Turn Key will build a much needed delicatessen/restaurant that will service those organizations already located in the Park.

"We look forward to having Turn Key expand a piece of their D.C. operation in our business community," said Terri Wolfley, Chair, EDA, " they will provide a needed service both to the residents of the County and existing tenants."

The Calvert County Industrial Park consists of 226 acres divided into 42 lots. The park is the largest full-scale industrial park in the County and is designated as a Maryland Enterprise Zone. The Calvert County Industrial Park is the only Enterprise Zone in Southern Maryland. The average lot size is 2.5 acres. The Park is located five miles west of Prince Frederick and 32 miles from the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The EDA is responsible for promoting quality economic development Countywide and is the sole owner and manager of the Calvert County Industrial Park.
