Calvert County DED
Conducts Commuter Survey
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- March 06, 2000 -- The Department of Economic Development, in cooperation with the Calvert County Telecommuting Center, is conducting a commuter survey to obtain information regarding out-of-county commuting patterns of Calvert County residents.
Approximately 60 percent of Calvert’s workforce commutes to jobs out of the County daily. By conducting this survey, the Department of Economic Development hopes to gain information that will assist in understanding where our labor force is employed outside of the County.
Results of the survey will be made available to the public online and in the Department’s newsletter in late spring.
