Free Business Security Seminar Offered to Calvert Businesses

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- January 18, 2000 -- The Department of Economic Development, in cooperation with the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce and BB&T Bank, will present a Business Security Seminar on February 24, 2000. The Seminar is open to all Calvert businesses, and will cover many diverse security issues.

Knowledgeable experts will discuss counterfeit currency, a business owner’s credit card rights and responsibilities, business transactions security, procedures to collect on bounced checks, and the best practices to assure the physical security of your business premises.

The Seminar will be held at the Holiday Inn Express, 335 Merrimac Court, Prince Frederick, Maryland on Thursday, February 24, 2000 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Registration begins at 8:30 AM.
