Calvert County EDC Announces Business to Business Initiative

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- February 24, 1999 -- The Calvert County Department of Economic Development, in cooperation with the Calvert County Economic Development Commission (EDC) and the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce, announced the "Business Helping Business Initiative". This new program is designed to assist the Calvert County small business community in locating items or services. The program was fully endorsed by the Calvert County EDC.

The Department of Economic Development will act as an information center to help connect those businesses in need of equipment or supplies with those who might have surplus equipment. Businesses who have surplus equipment or materials are asked to contact the Department of Economic Development, 410.535.4583. The Department of Economic Development will not store any equipment as part of this program. This services will be available only to Calvert County businesses.
