Calvert County Agriculture Commission Hosts Annual Ag Breakfast

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- March 3, 1998 -- The Calvert County Agriculture Commission announced today that it will host its annual "Ag Breakfast" on Saturday March 14, 1998 from 6:30 am - 10:30 am to kick off Agriculture Week in Calvert County at the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department. Ag Week celebrates Calvert County's traditional farming heritage. Announcements will be at 9:00 am.

During the breakfast, the Ag Commission will announce the winners of the 7th grade agriculture poster contest and provide an overview of the Calvert County Farm Tour scheduled for July 19, 1998. The theme of this year's poster contest is: "The Magic of Calvert County is in its Agriculture."
