American Metal Fabricators to Build =70,000 Sq/Ft Building in the Calvert County Industrial Park
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md., -- October 04, 1996 -- On Tuesday, October 15 at 4:00 pm, American Metal Fabricators (AMFAB) will hold a ground breaking ceremony at 5540 Ketch Road, Calvert County Industrial Park, to note the initial building phase of their new 70,000 sq/ft facility which is scheduled for completion in 1997, and will be built by CMI General Contractors, White Plains, Maryland.
Through a joint venture agreement between AMFAB and Burdette Woodworking Company (BWC), the companies will work in tandem to produce food service equipment. AMFAB/BWC produces customized wholesale food service and millwork equipment. The organization plays an important economic role to the County through their employment of over 90 individuals and estimates employment levels to increase to over 125 individuals in the future.
